(Taekwondo 5th Degree Black Belt, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Purple Belt & School Owner)

Mr. Rodriguez started his Martial Arts training over 17 years ago.. He is a certified instructor through the ATA (American Taekwondo Association) STF (Songham Taekwondo Federation) and WTTF (World Traditional Taekwondo Federation). He has additional training in Krav Maga, Creative Martial Arts, Weapons and he is a Purple Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He has competed in many Taekwondo Tournaments & Jiu Jitsu Tournaments where he has won at the Regional & National level throughout his Martial Arts career. Mr. Rodriguez also works closely with local communities and local schools promoting seminars in Bully Prevention, Child Safety and Self Defense. Mr. Rodriguez lineage to his Black Belt in Taekwondo is as follows: Eternal Grand Master H.U. Lee > Chief Master William Clark > Master Andy Sylva > Master Jeff Asesor. Mr. Rodriguez is currently a Purple Belt in Brazilian Jiu jitsu. His Jiu Jitsu training and lineage from White through Purple Belt is under Master Rickson Gracie> Professor Dave Kama> Professor Ryan Young. He now continues his training as a Purple Belt under the highest ranking Jiu Jitsu instructor in Texas 9th Degree Coral Belt and Master Carlos Machado.

Mr. Rodriguez started his Martial Arts training over 17 years ago.. He is a level one instructor and working towards full certification through the ATA (American Taekwondo Association) STF (Songham Taekwondo Federation) and WTTF (World Traditional Taekwondo Federation). He has additional training in Krav Maga, Creative Marital Arts, Xtreme Martial Arts, and is a Purple Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He has competed in many Taekwondo Tournaments where he has won at the Regional & National level throughout his Martial Arts career. Mr. Rodriguez works closely with local communities and local schools promoting seminars in Bully Prevention, Child Safety and Self Defense. Mr. Rodriguez also works part-time in the stunt & movie industry in Los Angeles & Dallas and he is a current member of (SAG) Screen Actor's Guild. He also works as a local model in Dallas with the The Campbell Agency for commercials and private corporations. Mr. Jon Hrubetz (Assistant Instructor)

(Taekwondo 1st Degree Black Belt)

Mr. Hrubetz is from Lubbock, TX. He began Kajukenbo Martial Arts at age 7 in Abilene, at the age of 10 he moved to Dallas and began studying American Taekwondo under Master Steve Selby 8th Dan Black Belt. Mr. Stephen Selby founded the Dallas Karate Academy in North Dallas in 1986, Mr. Hrubetz earned his Red/Black (Recommended Black Belt) Belt at the age of 16. and 20 yrs later in 2015 joined Rodriguez ATA Martial Arts Academy where he earned his 1st Degree Black Belt. He has been active in the tournament circuit with ATA (American Taekwondo Association) and recently became 2017 District Champion in Traditional Forms, Sparring, and Combat Sparring. Mr. Hrubetz also trains in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as a white belt under Mr. Richard & Mr. David Rodriguez. He enjoys mountain biking, all sports, especially baseball. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Texas Tech University.
