Ms. Sydney Lovick

Ms. Sydney started her martial arts training in 2016 during her Junior at Guyer High School. She earned her 1st Degree Black Belt in 2018 before starting college. While attending The University of Texas at Arlington she continued her martial arts training and earned her 2nd Degree Black Belt and Level 1 Instructor collar. Ms. Sydney graduated from UTA in 2021 with a BBA in Finance and began working full time as a Fixed Assets Accountant for Master Halco, while also continuing to work part time as a Barista and Trainer at Starbucks where she has been employed for 5 years. Ms. Sydney is currently assisting with teaching classes at Rodriguez Martial Arts Academy, as well as training in Taekwondo, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and in the ATA Legacy program under both Mr. Richie and Mr. David.

I have been bringing my niece Madi for a little over 2 weeks now and she loves it! She’s only 3 so she’s had some issues with following directions but Mr. Rodriguez has been so patient with her and is just really great with all the Tiger kids! We’ve done some private lessons to help her learn the basics before fully integrating her into a class and she is just always so excited to go. I can’t wait to see how much she is going to learn and am just really thankful to have found such a great teacher and welcoming environment for her first experience with Taekwondo.
